The omg.lol IRC server (irc.social.lol) is now making full use of IRCv3 channel avatars, and they look super great in clients that support the feature. I've also updated https://irc.social.lol/channels/ to display the channel avatars. https://wordwrap.lol/neatnik/2026-10-31_124633

omg.lol Office Hours have been updated! Check out the new schedule at https://home.omg.lol/office-hours. But, also, note that the times will shift again as Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend. I'll update everything after that and then we should be good for around six months. 😅 The updated schedule moves the Saturday session (in a Europe-friendly timeslot) to Thursdays. That's today! See you in roughly an hour and a half. https://wordwrap.lol/neatnik/2026-10-29_103641

Elon Musk owns X. Solely. There is no board of directors; there is no higher governance structure. X *is* Elon Musk. When you "return to X", you're supporting Elon Musk, full stop. There's no way around it. When you post there, you're contributing to him. Directly. So if you're not going into this with your eyes open, you're fooling yourself. But if you *are* going into it with your eyes open, you are the problem.
