Free Software projects should endeavor to make successful contribution approachable for people "scratching an itch" instead of demanding perfection. Otherwise eventually there will be no pool of future contributors. Too many projects (seemingly ones with mostly paid developers) forget this and suffer for it, eventually.

AI-generated music pisses me off. Thankfully YouTube tells me if something is AI-generated so I can skip away from it. I wish I could filter it out entirely, though.

One of the most bizarre things YouTube has recommended to me in a while: a country-style cover of the #PokémonJohtoJourneys opening theme... in *German* (it's dual language, technically...). It's not like it sounds bad, but country style with German sounds so odd to my ears... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K53O9gfZCus

It might be April Fool's Day, but you'd be a fool if you didn't check out today's #SudoShow episode where Noel, Bill, and I have a lighthearted conversation about pranks in the office. It's a nice break from the day-to-day humdrum with the #BusinessOfLinux. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wouwVS5W5bM

Whether it is open source, technology, trees, spectrum, human rights, healthcare, broadband, and everything in between, this is always true...

Protip: Make sure your username doesn't have spaces regardless of platform (Windows, POSIX-like, or otherwise). While technically valid and some tools can handle it, a lot more can't. Semi-related: it's really a pain to change the username in Windows.
