@sophamir I worked on a house once that was just across the line of a neighborhood HOA (built before the newer development) and the owner talked a lot about how much he enjoyed fucking with them since they held no authority over his end of the street. Getting the local FD to do a neighborhood July 4 parade was his crowning achievement. Apparently parades were strictly verboten on the other side of the line.
