  From OSC-NL on Linkedin: Currently, a consultation on the ‘Strategisch Plan Integrale Infrastructuur voor Open Science’ (SPII) of UNL is open for three weeks. For our Network of Open Science Communities, this window of opportunity to reflect and give meaningful input seems a bit narrow.   More and more I see initiatives in #openscience asking for part time freelancers, only willing to paying a rate that is the equivelent lower than minimum wage in the countries they are aiming at. I mean, if you need to be German speaking, 20euros an hour when you are responsible for taxes and insurances etc is incredibily low?

  'For us, using Google Drive & Docs, together with Slack was cheap and easy. However, the wish to migrate to a more open and just way of remote collective working was always felt'.   @Caffetino Yes, you either pay in data/privacy or euros.. I am also curious how fast the costs will rise when the usage grows; that is a bit of an experiment

  Simply asking why the consultation meeting, the SPII document and the consultation on the #SPII was only in Dutch, on behalf of the Open Science Communities made me feel like a Union Boss; maybe I should go into politics after all 😄 #openscience in the Netherlands, never a dull moment!

  Mijn idee is altijd geweest dat als je een poster sessie doet, een effect is dat mensen die daarvoor niet geselecteerd zijn niet meer naar het event mogen, en de presenteerders vaststaan op de belangrijkste momenten om met mensen te praten. Nu zie ik dat t #openscience festival toch wel weer een postersessie doet. Maakt t niet veel uit? Wat denken jullie?
