RE: https://www.urbanmind.net/display/f7dd981d-c68e61d6-3c6bf0151ff5582c An excellent take on OpenAPI 3.2 and how (and why!) to get from here to there

I'm strangely nerd-pleased to notice that I have a round number of repositories on my GitHub account right now: 256

RE: https://hachyderm.io/@openuk/117434196245343099 The Women of Open Source community that I co-founded is shortlisted for an OpenUK Award this year! It's a thriving community and I'm so grateful for having this group in my life #communityWorks #WomenOfOpenSource

Slides from my #NordicAPIs talk today on "API Standards for AI Agents" are available: https://noti.st/lornajane/ZJkOAY Thanks for being a great audience and as I said, I just REALLY like standards, so come and talk to me about TMF APIs, #OpenAPI, or anything else!

There are weather and seasons outside today, so it's a Stardew Valley soundtrack kind of a day in my office.

Last weekend I was at #OggCamp , I didn't speak at the event myself this year but plenty of other people did! It was great to see some new faces, but most of all I appreciate this diverse and disparate set of people that I probably wouldn't see anywhere else, and the conversations we have when we come together.

It's been a while since I last looked at openapi-changes and ohhhhh, that's a nice output, including markdown format (actually a little bit much with emoji all over it and it could do with some markdown format linting, but I can re-parse it for something more professional!) https://github.com/pb33f/openapi-changes

For people who think users should be able to choose what software to run on the hardware they own: Google are stopping unofficial apps being used on Android later this year. If you have an Android phone, install and use F-droid https://f-droid.org/ , if we want app stores to exist then we need to use them! I switched back from iPhone to Android recently, partly for a device small enough for a pocket in ladies clothing, partly because I missed being able to make/run apps.

@linuxlucy we were talking about the Kraken data display earlier at #oggcamp and it turns out it's a public dashboard https://dashboard.kraken.tech/

I find it somehow fitting that I'm on my way to #oggcamp and I've finally figured out how playlists work on my phone in VLC after de-spotifying quite some time ago (or maybe this functionality got better since I last tried?)

Is anyone using trust scoring on PRs to help evaluate things during this influx of noise on public repositories? I'm looking at https://github.com/marketplace/actions/good-egg-trust-scoring-prs and would love to hear others' stories! #openSource

This change in the token window arrangements from Claude is great! I always leave work on time now, because I've always run out of tokens and the end of the day is when I most need the second opinion! Pretty sure I'm actually getting more done by bailing on time and having something to immediately pick up next morning

Is it even social media if you only read the sources you choose for yourself, in chronological order?

Learning about PHP 8.5 with @derickr at @LeedsPHP this evening. Cold night but a good turnout and there’s a second talk on Clickhouse to come!

Just realised that I'm so far behind with processing my Zettelkasten inbox that the week numbering system I use is in danger of looping ... On the plus side that does mean I'm reading and writing again after what feels like too long. Funny how you can sometimes feel "fine" but your executive function tells a different story, for me it shows up in unprocessed things (inbox, notes, photos, and laundry!)

Delighted to have managed to get myself to #Monkigras this year! I have only done one previous Monkigras event and it was life changing, so who knows what this year will bring!

Thank you @nextcloud for the "deleted files" feature! I keep things in my Nextcloud that aren't under source control - mostly write-once content things like conference talks, notes folders, etc. And I just deleted the wrong filename pattern .... oops! If you don't know NextCloud, it's the self-hosted Dropbox alternative. And when I say self-hosted, actually I'm using it as-as-service from the excellent humans over at @thegoodcloud . So it&#...
