> he’d kissed at Rosier’s cheek, then his neck, and said, ‘Let’s leave, darling.’ Wrapping an arm around him and squeezing firmly. ‘I’ll marry you again. There are some places left on Earth where we haven’t wed, and I don’t want to stop marrying you until every grain of dirt has known that I love you.’ Rosier, such a soft demon, surrendered to this, of course. These two characters are a shining example of undying romantic love. It's truly adorable. #AngelsAfterMan #AngelsTrilogy #Rafa...

Some more trials with #Rope and #Bamboo had me mapping out some different ways binding body parts to bamboo. Those that know me are aware that I will sometimes make particular adjustments for building in safety features, and then I'll often fiddle with designs to see if I can make the practical ones more aesthetically pleasing for different types of context. Here's an example of one ankle tied to what may or may not become a spreader bar in this tie. It's basically just a larks hea...

So, I was working on doing some winter prep, and part of that is cleaning out the garage. Making sure it's not completely fallen apart yet, changing light bulbs, verifying no signs of electrical sparking/fire risk assessment, ensuring room for vehicle, etc. I kept going out to work on this task and I kept finding myself back inside. I couldn't really tell why, because of the whole "doorway crossed with a memory cost" feature I have at times. Eventually, I just did a quick alou...

Folks with multi-cultural families, have you come out to any of them? Why or why not? If you have, how did it go? When I say multi-cultural, an example would be someone whose parents came from very different cultural and/or religious backgrounds, and then who spent time exposed to both sides of the family in different capacities. I'd like to hear your stories, and also understand that it might be sensitive. Feel free to DM me or reach out on signal if you'd rather keep it private but a...

I hear bamboo is a good choice for when you want things to spread effectively. In this case, various experiments with bamboo are underway to calculate various related coefficients, etc. #KatPics #Bamboo #Rope #Spreading

I've not been the best about posting this year. But something that has been doing great is the coloring process for my sleeve! The last coloring session we did the reds, oranges and blue+very subtle seafoam green. The different greens on the leaves of different parts of my arm were done a while ago. Fun fact: The Amanita Muscaria is a sort of "forbidden fruit" due to it being both poisonous and psychoactive (in more of a deleriant way, not necessarily a psychedelic way). Instead...

It's a full moon today! What sort of wilderness do you unleash? I was once told I'm like a moonflower because I bloom on full moons, and my nectar is a spiritual experience that will put you to sleep. I think I blushed hard enough to vaporise. Anyway, here's me bound in a spiral futomomo for todays full moon. I also have my ankles bound by a couple of bowlines to constrain my squirminess a little #AccessibilityIsHotAF #AltAfterDark #KatPics #NomBinary #Shibari #NonBin...

Continued from [Part 1](https://lgbtqia.space/@h3mmy/116666480273585184) Sometimes when you have the right consistency and wetness with clay, you can smack it to draw the moisture up closer to the surface. You need to use the correct rhythm though, which can be tricky to figure out. As a bonus, it may also warm up the clay and accelerate the process. When successful, it will allow the moisture to escape (via evaporation) and the clay will crumble more easily. In this example, the redness is...

To celebrate my instance limits going back to normal, I have a poll for y'all. This is going to be about #biting in the context of play. Select statements that hold true for you. If you would like to expand on your answers, or add your perspectives and experiences to my dataset, please add a response. If you want it to remain private you may make it a "mentioned-only" response. #AskFedi #Poll #KatQs #PollsOfAKat

The moon is full. It's a special time, ripe with magic. Use it wisely. The next #NewMoon will co-incide with the peak of the 2026 meteor shower. Weather permitting, this will make for excellent conditions to watch the night sky. And also to harness the increased magic density in the soil in between realms if you are so inclined. #FullMoon #Moon #Perseids #Perseids2026 #ScribblesOfAKat

Alright y'all. I appreciate you being cool about me taking weird sized breaks from posting. Here's a recipe I made yesterday and basically devoured because it was so good. #CW for pics of #Food # Butter Rice Cakes Makes 12 using a standard muffin tray ## Ingredients - 10 tablespoons unsalted butter (140g) - ½ cup granulated sugar (105g). I personally prefer closer to ⅓ cup (~65-70g) - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon honey - ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt - 1 large egg (preferabl...

One fun recurring thing at #Blissfest is the "Mug Library." These folks are not officially affiliated with the festival or anything. They setup a wall of mugs hanging from nets. You can grab one, fill up with free coffee that runs on donations, and simply return the mug (into a tote, not the net) when you're done. At night time, the netting gets lit up all pretty, and you know what happens then. That's right, lights in the woods at night attract moths! Here's a picture of...

While I definitely used different ties for load bearing wraps, I did sprinkle various decorative knots around camp. Especially with glow-in-the-dark paracord, as this has been pretty good at helping folks avoid running face first into trees when it's dark. Definitely not my tidiest work, but for a hasty one I think it was acceptable. I did do a properly tidy hashira anchor at some point but I think I forgot to actually take a picture of it :neofox_facepalm: And my various ties around ca...

Pretty close to the "entrance" to our camp at #Blissfest2026, there was a tree stump that we decorated as a temporary surface. And took care to protect the moss from stray footsteps. The moss was not alone though. This fungus is colloquially known as "Dead Man's Fingers" and the scientific name is _Xylaria polymorpha_. It's a saprotrophic fungus that often grows on dead or dying wood. They are not edible, so I recommend you do _not_ put these digits in your mouth if...

Another small anecdote from #Blissfest2026 and volunteering with kiddos. One of the popular crafting activities was "flower crowns." I believe there was a workshop earlier on day 1 with the older kids, so it was a theme. During Day 2, we narrowly avoided the pipe-cleaner-apocalypse. This is where we would be running out of pipe cleaners because they were being used by kids to make the base of the crown. I had managed to find some crafting wire that was an adequate substitute. Both thi...

At #Blissfest this year, both my volunteer shifts went to the Kids area. We set up various arts and crafts for them to do. It lets them exercise some creativity, and sometimes we can sneak in useful skill learning. It's very freeform though. One of the activities ended up being a variant of "worry dolls" (Muñecas quitapenas). This is a doll that one can whisper their worries to and the doll will let them be free of the worries overnight. Practically, it is basically a confidant...

Apparently, I never shared this picture, only teased it. How rude of me. :neofox_box: This is a classic and manually cropped. I didn't get exposed to the DARE program as a child but was certainly brought up to speed eventually. I don't know if people ever wore these unironically, but just the thought feels weird to me. Since this crop isn't snug, it is prone to nip slips. Less so after a couple of minor alterations, but it has as much success with breast support as the DARE progra...

After getting home from #Blissfest this year, my hair was ridiculous. Here's the full #FitCheck for the "teardown camp and haul things back home" day. It involves extra manual labor in the sweltering humid heat and also wading through grass sometimes (yes, I tuck my pants into my socks for that). I wore something similar on the "loading into camp" day, and while I was there, I only wore pants twice. It was when volunteering to do arts and crafts in the kids area. There...

#Blissfest was a fun experience this weekend. I still have pics I haven't posted from #Blissfest2025 but I'm going to try and at least get some posted soon for #Blissfest2026 It was humid as heck. And it was quite warm; both in terms of how welcoming and accepting the people are, and also the air temperature. There were multiple times where I was just glistening with sweat and doing something with ropecord, trees, or dancing. I'll spare you any pictures of that state, and instead of...

I don't have as many fun plants around as some of y'all do, but I still am easily smitten by simple things. For example, there are plenty of wild alliums around, and I quite enjoy seeing the silver lil bubbles they form, and appreciate how they look so alien and metallic. Then when they finally burst, it's like there was this tiny cute eldritch deity just waiting to hatch. 🥹 #KatPics #BloomScrolling #Plants #Nature

When you are having one of those days, and are still blissfully unaware that you forgot to take your meds, and it's past time for tea... 1. Water in the kettle is ready. Add dry tea leaves to mug. 4. Add water to teapot. 5. Retreat back to workstation with tea mug. 6. Wait a tick... *loading icon* 7. Evalua...
