  The other day I picked up *Space Marine II* (as soon as I found out I could play the PVE part by myself... ^^U). When I started playing, I saw that you could set the voices to Japanese, and my inner seiyuu fan got the better of me. I'm glad to see I haven't completely lost my ear for this—I immediately recognized Titus as Akio Ootsuka. What an amazing voice.

  Well, Yanagi is joining the group. I don't want to sound disappointed, but... I wanted Zhu Yuan... : (. Well, actually, Yanagi works out fine for me. I don’t dislike her, I’ll get more stories with Soukaku, and since I don’t know how to handle Grace, she might actually be a good fit as an Electro-anomaly. But the fact that my only chance of getting Zhu Yuan is to pull for someone and fail the 50/50, just to have a 1 in 6 chance of getting her…

  Phoenix has joined the party. This case is a little strange. It’s not that I dislike her (she’s actually funny), but they drop a couple of hints that leave me in doubt—and she’s from Krampus. It’s a faction that doesn’t appeal to me at all. But on the other hand, it works out great for me because it looks like they’re not going to release Burnice who was my wanted Fire Anomaly, so… she fills that gap, and I like the gameplay. And like I said, I don’t dislike her either. #zzz #zenlesszonezero

  It turns out that yesterday the LEDs that light up my display case broke, so I was trying to fix them today. To fix it, I had to lift up the shelf that held those guys. It was symbolic. It makes me sad. They’re such great characters, and it bugs me that we’ll most likely never see anything from them again. They’ll fall into oblivion among IPs that nobody knows how to use, or they’ll be exploited in true EA style. "I should go..."

  A friend sent me a link to a video of a “contender” to compose the music for the next Mass Effect. Apparently, he was already in talks with BioWare, but nothing official. And the video is what could have been the soundtrack for the next ME. It has that certain something. It was going well. But it's reopened the wound.   The other day I was playing “Operation Bagel,” and while I was opening a safe, I found myself thinking, “Damn, Vivian should be able to open safes faster. She's a Mockingbird thief!” And I started thinking about how each character or faction could have their own bonuses in Operation Bagel raids. ...Then I realized, of course.   When I was a kid, I had a friend who had a Master System... I don't remember it having graphics that good. I may do remember the graphics being better than the NES's, or maybe just more colorful, but not on par with the SNES. :blobcatfearful: I mean, it didn't reach the levels of the Genesis/Megadrive.

  Today I got my first “S” on Deadly Assault. I have no idea how I did it. Everything just came together... It's also frustrating because while this team I put together on a whim has performed perfectly, my team with the most potential hasn't managed to get anything better than a B.

  I was watching a video that listed some movies based on books that were “better than the books.” And among them was Jurassic Park. Okay. I’m not objective because Jurassic Park is one of my favorite books. Michael Crichton taught me in that book how to manage groups and keep readers engaged when writing a novel, and I wrote an entire dissertation about the book in college. It’s not “better.” They’re just different. The movie is one of the greatest, but I think the book holds its own.

  Damn... my first S in the fourth pillar of Shiryu Defense... I won't deny that Sigrid (and Sunna) had something to do with it, but the real game-changer here was adding Trigger to the group with Pyrois and Astra (poor Vivian—she got left out). People aren’t recommending picking up Trigger, but her W-Engine gives you +35% damage… Well… I don’t know. I’m actually noticing it. I think it was a good choice. :ablobthinking: Or maybe it was because I'm using Snap? #zzz #zenlesszon...

  I see something odd in this picture. Not Belle's statement. It makes sense to accept the fact that the house now belongs to Inky. But I find it strange to see the cat next to objects that could easily be pushed off the table, like that bottle or that Luckyboo statue. #zzz #zenlesszonezero

  Well. Triple A in Shiryu Defense (LVL5). Thanks to Pyrois/Trigger facing off against someone without a vulnerability. It’s been a while since I pulled that off. Actually, I think it’s been since they introduced the Wind element. It bothers me a little that they’re adding a new damage element—with enemies vulnerable to Wind, with mechanics vulnerable to Wind… but so far there’s only one character with Wind, and I don’t like her. …and the ones coming up don’t appeal to me either.

  I just finished the last panel of the second page of my doujinshi... (out of the five I originally planned). ...It took me two months to do two pages. At this rate...👴 And on top of that, I just realized I have a couple of minor mistakes... and there's something about the last panel that doesn't convince me... :blobsweat:

  On Sunday, I managed to find some time to play through the ZZZ campaign and beat version 2.8. Honestly... I had a lot of fun. The good part is that it reminded me of what I love about ZZZ. In this part of the campaign, they make fun of themselves a ton. Like when they send Fairy out to find characters with pink hair using a search query that’s a little... weak, and they end up bringing back everyone they know. I love that they describe Nicole as “Best-friends-already.”

  The other day, a video came out showing what was coming in version 3.0 for ZZZ, and what we saw, let's just say, raised some concerns. The new character design is so fantasy-like that you can't tell if the new characters are from Genshin or ZZZ. The situation is so that even people who make comedy comics have picked up on it. People are complaining that ZZZ is losing its identity, and I just saw a video of a guy dismissing the complaints and calling them unfounded.
