  Well thanks for the email Amazon Prime. I’ll not be paying an extra £2.99 a month to remove ads… there’s little worth watching on prime as it is. But you have got me now questioning if my whole subscription is worth the swift delivery or if I should just scrap it altogether. Probs not what you were aiming for but such is life.

  Came home from long run and got sucked into watching the first three episodes of The X-Files with Mrs S. First of all they’re still brilliant. Secondly, in classic episode 3, The Squeeze, where they’re hunting a serial killer who attacks every 30 years, the line “If we don’t catch him now we’ll have to wait until 2023” really made us feel old 😂

  Good luck to the absolute nutters setting off on the 2024 Winter Spine Race. 268 miles of the Pennines in the middle of winter. Hoping to maybe catch the leaders later this morning on my long run.   Lovely to get a chance to cheer the leaders of the #spinerace on as they headed up to Black Hill. They’re about 18 miles in at this point, only 250 more to go. And it started snowing as I made my way home! Good luck to all the awe inspiring athletes this week on this most epic of races.
