  In the past half hour I went from having a lovely day redying my hair and writing a soup-based romantasy to learning my electric kettle no longer has a display to let me set the temp of the water coming out of it and having to put a jump ring in my nose because one of my nose-rings vanished. Sigh. Here's hoping the next half hour is better?

  The Asexual Soup Romantasy is just over 14k and right around halfway written. So it's on track to be the longest of the three novellas but not to stretch out into a novel. And I want to hug my bunny-girl. I'm putting her through a lot considering the book is still mostly cozy. #writing

  I got my teeth cleaned! By a hygienist it turned out I knew. I'd just completely forgotten she's a dental hygienest. Lol. Also scheduled getting a few old filings replaced. Not looking forward to that.

  Went to see my daughter. Trip highlights included spontaneously attending a concert based on liking a music video, packing a bunch of boxes, watching Morgan Freeman narrated dinosaur documentaries, and Baby's First Tattoo. (At age 24 years, nine months.) She got a super cute audino pokemon custom piece.

  I was just asked what my marketing strategy is and had to respond that it was very sweet of the asker to assume I had one beyond posting frequently and arranging occasional discounts... I am, in fact, quite inept. So the good news is I have tremendous potential to improve.

  The book I'm reading is consistently using the word 'passed' when it means to use 'past' and I'm starting to wonder if this an AI tell or something. Or maybe it's part of a coded message saying the author is being held hostage? It feels unlikely the author just thinks that's the right word.
