  Wouldn't it be amazing if the #noctalia #dock would show app icons of open windows grouped by workspace? Similar to what the taskbar widget for the bar does, but more beautiful and more useful. I might have to make this as a plugin one day. #niri #linuxlife

  #umbriel is certainly still in its early stages, but for my use case, it is actually already superior to #niri in some areas. It uses #xwayland directly instead of via xwayland-satellite, thus #x11 apps like #bitwigstudio and virtually all audio plugins run without any issues. Although my niri configuration does not translate one-to-one in Umbriel, I plan to continue testing it and then eventually switch my computers over to it. #wayland #windowmanager #linuxaudio
