Here’s the still from that Timelapse I just posted. Again, go watch blue eyed samurai if you’re keen on some animated violence, trans representation and Japanese badassery.

Jeri is running but she can't escape the gray box yet. Who knows how long it'll take to get her out of this liminal space 😩 #blackFedi #mastoart #mastoartist #mastoanimation

I’m doing #Inktober this year! Instead of ink drawings, we’re doing animations. Here’s day 1. “Apple”

#inktober day 2. Relic. @sol_theartist and I came up with the concept and I animated a scene where a Sekuru and his grandkid are hanging out and he’s telling them Ngano. Ngano is a story told in karanga culture. The stories usually have meaning behind the events taking place. #blackmastodon #mastoartist #mastoanimation

#inktober day 3. Miniature. The image represents women who are feeling trapped by traditional gender roles and expectations. Idea by @sol_theartist

I’m back with more art for that ass <3 :capybutt: Meet Jeri! A non-binary (she/they) visual artist from Harare who hates generative AI and loves the idea of having interests. They’re currently trapped in a model sheet and are working on a plan to get out of the void so they can forge some sort of story. Cause all great cartoons need a story. They’re also having a problem with keeping a consistent number of fingers. #blackmastodon #blackfedi #mastoArt #oc #commissionsopen

I’m back with more girly art for that ass! No literally. I got drawings of girls :artaww: . Femininity is amazing and I love drawing things that express it. These are pretty old but I think they still hold up. I wanna do more with more variety and body diversity in the future. #blackFedi #mastoArt #girl #artgirl #blackart #africanart #commissionsOpen

I made some environment layouts for animation! I walk a lot so I took inspiration from some familiar streets and made them into panoramic layouts. I really enjoy making vibrant, colorful scenes that show my country’s beauty even with the imperfections like potholes.

A wild sketchbook page appeared! I was rewatching Boondocks and discovering Living Single a few months back and I sketched out characters. #blackmastodon #blackfedi #mastoArt

These are some noir environments I did for a local arts and culture magazine a few months back. The story follows two friends walking down a street after an evening out and chatting the night away. I really enjoyed the he limitation of not using colour cause that’s a little outside my comfort zone and it forced me to be creative with my values.
