I'm pretty amazed by how quickly stuff moves with classic iOS development these days. That does make me want to wipe the older devices I haven't touched in months and start again though since a lot of stuff now doesn't work and better alternatives are available.

I think one of the most upsetting things about being glued to social media in my experience is that it makes me extremely boring as a person

Can't believe we're only a few days away from #ukponycon! Scary how quick that came up! #ukpc

It's probably a lost cause but I've always wanted to meet other conlang speakers who also go to UK pony conventions cuz shared interests and stuff Total shot in the dark but maybe some Esperantists and/or Toki Ponists are going to #ukpc? #esperanto #tokipona #ukponycon

Question: what on earth happened to Audacity since the last time I used it and why?

TIL there are Weatherspoons hotels. If the rooms also have weird carpets like the pubs then I'm sold!

I started writing notes for a review of Stalker (1979). I think this is going to be a tough thing to do not only because of how much I like this movie and want to do it justice but also because it's generally a tough film to describe with much of it's appeal being the headspace it gets you in.

I'm cautiously optimistic for G6. It looks interesting and like it's being made by passionate people! The only thing that worries me a bit is the 9 minute episode length but if Wild Manes could do something pretty decent with that then why not My Little Pony?

• View post

A lot is being said about the decision to exclude Rarity and Apple Jack from G6 at the start. Personally I think it's pretty smart since each episode is only 9 minutes long; introducing everyone at once would lead to a lot of overwhelm.

So, there’s a new Bubsy game out. I actually had good fun with this one when I tried the demo and it’s being released DRM-free on day one. So why not? I’ll grab it and take a look.

I absolutely love the pony fandom's depiction of Trixie as a symbol of pride, even sometimes as the princess of pride. Like yeah, that's absolutely her 🏳️‍⚧️

Fursuit head update: It’s now in a presentable state ^ ^ There are still a few things that I want to do, a lot actually, but I’ll be wearing this to a small local con tomorrow just to try it out. The next step are to make some hooves for my hands :D

I'm kinda tempted to make some Mastodon fliers and hand them out at cons, I wonder if anyone has a template for such a thing? Failing that I'll happily make one and liscence it under creative commons and hope that it'll be useful to other people too :)
