If you're in Oakland this afternoon, you should absolutely stop by The Pergola at Lake Merritt for the book launch of The Hex, a story collection by Luna Merbruja. "The stories follow 9 different protagonists whose lives are changed by a trans scientist who creates a new HRT that unlocks shapeshifting. A new world is born through chaos and magic."
