To Europeans who are sceptic toward democratic socialism (let's say eg. a bigger role to co-operative economy, strong public basic services, expanding democratic governance): would it change your view if you imagined these things gaining traction in USA? How did you feel about Mamdani's victory? I'm thinking whether shifting the frame to include the whole core of imperialism might encourage a global movement for an alternative hegemony. How could we support eg. Democratic Socialists of America?
