The existence of Ozempic does not change the fact that fat people deserve respect, dignity, and joy. The fact that some fat people lose weight does not change the fact that fat people deserve respect, dignity, and joy.

@BathysphereHat@mastodon.online And I was under the impression that body positivity meant people, especially women, have the right to do with their bodies what they want without commentary from the whole internet. It's between a person and their doctor whether they take Wegovy or something. It's not anybody else's choice. Women like Meghan Trainor didn't owe it to anybody else to lose weight before; they don't owe to anybody to not lose weight now.
