I think it's a fair bet that it was a group of London Scrotes on a fuel (Petrol/Diesel/Heating Oil) thieving trip, but they managed to invoke the counterterrorism branch instead of Rural Plod (single crewed and expected to somehow cover the entire district/county by themself overnight). This is the sort of "Surprise!" I like to see, though the locals would doubtless prefer the "brown trouser gang" to be in custody rather than bailed to appear whenever. 3:O)>
