@johnlogic@sfba.social I don’t know of them having teathered balloons but there was a proposal to do that at farms in Eastern Washington when I worked at WSU.

@ingalls@mstdn.ca this was on a short tether, maybe up to 1000 feet. I think it may have been practice for a launch.
