@glloyd@fosstodon.org Ideally yes, but we are beholden to our employers who have different ideas. You aren’t going to get the likes of Altman or Zuckerberg to give half a hoot about any of that.

@glloyd@fosstodon.org Google went from “Do no evil” to the data theft driven advertising hell company they are now by simple dint of having to earn ever more money. The devs there had no chance.
