Hey, fedi, any advice on a tablet input device? I use Linux, and I mainly do art in Krita, Aseprite, Blender, and Inkscape. I've already had one person suggest I just get an iPad for drawing and leave it at that, but I'm not so sure about that idea. But other than that, I really have no idea what is out there or what is worth looking into.

@eruonna@lgbtqia.space never used one myself, but seen this video from "explaining computers" on yt some time ago, which discusses a Wacom tablet, also on Linux https://youtu.be/-rvf4TdlkNs

  • @eruonna@lgbtqia.space I believe @eevee@mastodon.social used a tablet for drawing on Linux but I don’t know the specifics.

@eruonna@lgbtqia.space I mean, I can't speak to the other apps, but Krita works relatively decently on my Google pixel tablet, and is what I used for all the art on the @riley@expertsexchange.lgbt account. I do have a stylus, I don't know what that stylus is off hand, it was just some generic meets the obscure standard stylus I found off of Amazon.
