I'm watching the first season* of the British tv show The Avengers. It is shockingly good! I'm only two shows in and I'm hooked. The writing, the characters, and the overall vibe are so much more than I expected * Season 1 was lost, I'm actually starting with season 2

I've heard about this show for years of course. I've known of it's impact but to actually sit down and watch it from the start is quite fun

@scottjenson@social.coop German title retranslated to English is btw.: "With umbrella, charm, and bowler." While bowler is in German "Melone". Yeah melon. So also : "With umbrella, charm, and melon."

@scottjenson@social.coop I love them! There are some very impressive episodes and set designs. I also love Emma‘s car. And one thing the German transators got very right is the title: »Mit Schirm, Charme und Melone« (“With umbrella, charm, and bowler hat”). I find that one much better :)
