@gruber@mastodon.social This post didn’t make me angry — just sad. Now, more than ever, I believe we need alternatives to corporate-owned, algorithm-driven social media. Those options exist, and, as you note, they do lack participation, in part because so many influential people chose not to leave X in the first place. The situation will only deteriorate further as influencers who *did* leave go back. Our attention is a currency; our principles are revealed by where we spend that currency and why.
