@Troggie@beige.party We have had a LOT less slug damage to our allotment strawberries since we put down a thick layer of a product called Strulch. It's not cheap but it's worked out for us. I'm trying it more extensively this year. It's a straw product that's been treated in some way, but it's compostable and degrades after 2-3 years.
