❗️POLITICO reports the European Commission wants a political agreement by year-end on how to cover Ukraine’s estimated €70 billion funding gap for 2027. Around €40 billion is for defense and €30 billion for the national budget. The defense gap could fall to €27 billion if NATO countries fulfill pledged bilateral assistance.
