For this week's jukebox music theme, Play Time, here's "Lovely Day", written and sung by Bill Withers. The song playfully celebrates the way we can together turn our daily slog into a little holiday, with the right person. (Thinking of the fun Brian and I had together, and how much less often I just take a lovely day off to play, since he's gone.) "When I wake up in the mornin', love, And the sunlight hurts my eyes, And somethin' without warnin', love, Bears heavy on my mind, Then I look at you, And the world's all right with me, Just one look at you, And I know it's gonna be A lovely day, lovely day, Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEeaS6fuUoA #JukeboxFridayNight #PlayTime
