@David_Hollingworth@mastodon.social so how does the Australian ransomware payment reporting work? If an Australian school finds out that US company paid a ransom for the school data, do we have to report?

@daveyk00@aus.social At a guess, I'd say no. No money from an Australian entity has changed hands with any criminal entity, technically. It's a fascinating question, though!
