@feed thank you for your brilliant reporting and for putting pressure on #Proton, by highlighting their toxic culture. The canceling of the AI "re-interviews" is a teeny tiny gesture but IMHO the only way for the company to restore some of its credibility would be to ask for the resignation of its CEO and CTO. The damage done has been catastrophic and I don't see any other way out (unless they both go). From your piece I could sense there are many great, conscientious engineers working there

@_elena@mastodon.social @feed @fasterandworse@hci.social Their CEO and head of Engineering are two of the five trustees of the non-profit that owns Proton AG, the operating company. It would probably be difficult to convince the other three board members, including Tim Berners-Lee, to sack the C-suite, even if that is what is needed to restore trust.
