Someone I connected with at a Buddhist meditation couple years ago seems to have joined the LLM addled masses 😔 I was open-minded at first, shared what I understood about this bias amplifying technology on its technical merits, but it fell on deaf ears. The guy has developed a personal relationship with an AI, ripe with magical thinking and quasi-spiritual jargon. He stopped meditating and has mysterious weakness but won't see a doctor because the AI affirms this is God's plan 🤷🏻‍♂️
