Here's a lil' update on Dune. One of the obstacles to reverse engineering Dune is that the code is very interconnected. I spent some time working out why the background of the info panel was black instead of brown. It turns out that it uses palette entry 0x10, which is only set by… the opening frame of the intro video. And I was skipping the opening video because I thought I was done with that part!
