@ivor@social.ivor.org I get more random shit video artefacts on my (recent) AMDGPU under "wayland only" plasma than I ever did with my "nvidia are doing it wrong" GPU on older kde/plasma. I realise x11 "did too much" etc but FFS to replace it with something that only does some subset, and quite badly from a user experience, does seem sort of short sighted (cough... systemd etc)
