The party establishment still doesn’t get that El-Sayed, Jackson, and Talarico are performing well because they meet voters where they are (which is not one size fits all), and persuade when they want to take them farther. The old guard is happy to win on tricks and fatigue from Republican voters, rather than getting off their asses and actually selling a vision. Schumer and Jeffries have to be run out of leadership in January.
