@stux@mstdn.social I grew up in 1%er Naziville for half my childhood. My friends and I were constantly being perved on by men in their 40s and 50s. None of this would have been hard to believe for me, but I didn't even hear of Epstein until Trump's first term. It's shocking but not surprising how many people knew and kept quiet. The men are monsters, and the enabler wives not only fail to protect the kids but frequently take their anger out on the victims. It's not like it's only rich people, either.

@stux@mstdn.social I don't believe that for one to be a strong person in today's world needs to break the law! You can still be a strong person when you are innocent. Maybe if they say that people who solve big problems, end up being great than those who solve simple problems, then I can agree

@stux@mstdn.social The sick thing for me is as I get older and remember the horrific things my father did to me, nothing surprises me. He wasn't rich, he wasn't powerful, and yet he did things to me that most people would struggle to comprehend. If he could get away with it, how much more so the rich and powerful. I'm 62, no point holding this inside any more.

@stux@mstdn.social it will sound cruel what I’m about to say, but the Epstein case is not about sexual abuse. That is the easiest part to talk about, the one that gets the least amount of people in trouble. The Epstein case is about Iran Contra, 9/11, and America and Israel’s relationship. All of this is unified by human trafficking and blackmail. It’s power at its most disgusting level.

@stux@mstdn.social I believe rich and powerful men have always indulged their being attracted to young children. It is part of their entitlement. And it wasn’t a problem when the majority of us didn’t see what was going on because rich and powerful men owned the media. With social media It hit the news here with BBC stars being exposed. Epstein provided a means for Trump and his fellow pederasts and child rapists to indulge themselves behind closed doors. And still rich and powerful men don’t get exposed.
