Thinking about how two of my favorite games Majora's Mask and Knights Of The Old Republic 2 are both sequels to EXTREMELY faithful adaptations of Joseph Campbell's "Hero With A Thousand Faces". Both games make the claim that after The Heroes Journey is not enlightenment or peace but desolation and grief. I wonder if other games or stories try to explore this subject.
