I said this in another thread but I think it deserves calling out: I'm as binary as any cis woman. I don't identify as non-binary. I call myself a trans woman. I don't feel the need to use a more nuanced label because leaning into masculinity as an identity doesn't feel right to me. But I'm also not hyper-femme all the time. I know some NB people who are way more fem than I am most of the time. I have a high-paying tech job. I'm a leader in my field. I have a lot of men who look up to me. I wear comfortable pants and a T-shirt a lot of the time. I'm married to a woman. I feel no need for the approval (sexual or otherwise) of men. I feel pretty comfortable getting drinks with the guys after work. (As long as they're not being sexist twats.) I am a woman. If you think those are in conflict, that's because your definition of femininity is fucked up and built on misogyny, not because I'm somehow less a woman for being independent and wearing pants.
