@bebadefabo@mastodon.social The US have a slight different problem. They have two sides that have different violence backing. The red is former KKK and is very weaponised and pro self defence vs. the blue who is more socialist and not so pro guns. The scales are tipping towards the fascist side in the violence weight. This leads to protests only daring to be on the sidewalk and waving signs, if they step onto the road they are fair game to drive over without penalty.
