Last year #Utrecht widened ~1 mile (1.2 km) of bike lanes on either side of a major retail, freight, transit street so that people on bikes could safely pass ➕ ride side-by-side. The project also added tons of bike parking, parklets, trees, safer street crossings. Lost ~50 car parking spaces.
