Today’s Kathleen Parker attack on Walz starts out with some reasonable-sounding quibbles and somehow ends up, just a few paragraphs later, firmly ensconced in the Gulag Archipelago. I’ve come across my share of slippery rhetorical slopes, but this is a case of discursive free fall.
