Glitter in the Air by Pink, a rare woman-sung love song in my vocal range, and La Vie en Rose. I played a slightly jazzy rendition of La Vie en Rose on soprano sax once for my wife on soprano sax, and that was really fun.

Currently, Tonight by Social Distortion. It’s not quite a love song in the traditional sense, it’s more about a lover’s quarrel, but you can hear the yearning he has for his love in the lyrics. You can hear the remorse for their problems in the line “Can’t deny our devotion”. I’d put it more in the category of a sad love song. But I also just saw them perform it live on Saturday and it’s been stuck in my head for months 😬 It also reminds me of being so far away from my loved ones and how much I miss them.
