I was thinking about that, with the several kinds of metal referenced.
Also, it sounds like the fancy science is as much to have cooling fabrics that aren’t white as it is to have cooling fabrics. Compostable cooling seems more valuable to society overall than colorful cooling.

@clew@ecoevo.social @ahhhhhhhhhhh@mastodon.social @tksst@fediscience.org you'd be hard pressed to get cooling fabrics better than white in any other color because violet light is a way of ejecting more energy... but yeah this isn't some great environmental victory
