@jasper@dystopianpresent.club Like you, I had my Mastodon account deleted. I made the "mistake" of querying a post about Israel and was immediately inundated with vile attacks from the Israeli quadrant They got me immediately barred, Mastodon leapt to it and complied, never asked my side of the story or offered explanation. I was wiped. Learnt my lesson there.

@jasper@dystopianpresent.club Mine seemed to get deleted for no reason, I am not a frequent poster but a frequent reader, I too am trying to recreate my fun feed. It is disappointing at the least, I contemplated leaving all together but thought there was some glitch. Maybe I am obtuse.

@jasper@dystopianpresent.club This is a good argument for backing everything up now & then. You can go into Prefs > Import & Export & just save everything locally as files. You can't make your old followers follow you back this way, but you can bulk import all your old follows. They'll see a notification & follow you back. Too late now, but backing up now/soon is a good idea, just in case.
