@LaserdiscTurtle@mas.to I just want it to look as close as possible to what it would have been on my TV. It was shot with that medium in mind, so it should be restored the same way. No revisionist “well if we could have back then…”
If you shot it on film, I’m willing to make an exception, but I still feel a little weird about it

@kev@social.catastrophic.horse Exactly! And that's what Series 1, 2, and most of Doctor Who look like; archival! The Restoration Team have sadly embraced AI in recent releases. I think they're toning it down again...but it's still there.
