My poor kids! I dropped them off at the airport at 7:30 for an 840 flight. It boarded two hours late. They had to de-ice the plane ones they finally got boarded. Then there was a mechanical issue, so they had to get all back OFF the plane, wait another hour, then re-board. They finally just took off. They were so out of sorts, and I felt terrible for them, but when my 15-year-old said “I’ve been awake for 13 hours!” I lost it. Uh, hey, Junior, most people are a week 16 to 18 hours a day.
