As much as I hate to discuss this lake naming shit from this dumbass...
I must admit shamefully that I had no idea the province where I live was a Wendat name. I assumed it was Indigenous, just like Québec and many names we have. I just.. never looked into it
Ontari’io, translates roughly to large lake or beautiful lake in Wendat
