We cannot do it. It cannot be done.
We also cannot simply organize an invasion task force right now on the fly, or arm Kurdish mercenaries like a Bay of Pigs redux.
My own surmise: Either Trump cuts and runs, which he tends to do, or his only recourse is to apply tactical nuclear ordinance against e.g. the exposed elements of Iran's already precarious system of water management, its qanat tunnels, reservoirs, canals, and damns.

I don't think I can even articulate the scale of the Iranian response, suffice to say terrorism at home in America will become common, like a daily occurence (rightly so if we escalate things so badly like that)
