OMG. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ This is Virginia Dillard, who at 105 years of age refused to do curbside or absentee voting; instead, she wanted to walk in and serve as a role model for young people. The first article is about her vote in the primary this year. The picture below seems to be from early voting for the general election. Both interviews with her are very worthwhile. If she can go vote, who can't? Thank you, Virginia Dillard! https://www.becauseofthemwecan.com/105-year-old-virginia-dillard-walked-into-her-east-texas-polling-place-and-cast-her-vote/ https://allchronology.com/2026/10/27/they-didnt-let-us-vote-at-105-this-texas-woman-walked-into-a-polling-place-and-delivered-a-powerful-message-to-america/

  • People who immigrated to the US from nations where they didn't get to vote are rightly aghast to see others who can vote refuse. But it's not just people from other countries who've been denied that right. Of course, horrific voter suppression continues; that's the point of the articles. I know many people will be denied their vote no matter how hard they try. But her example is always important, and even more so this year.
