@JonathanMBR@mstdn.social I am in favour of given the global south a much bigger role in world events but Kenya criminalises LGBTQ+ people and that should be a hard no to host any global events there. Should have also been a hard no for other sports events to be held in countries that criminalises minorities but that's a trend that should be stopped rather than continued.
