@thesunisthesame@mastodon.social 100% It makes me sad & angry. This is why I push this framing forward because individually nothing will change this. That doesn't make rejecting AI any easier but it maps out how we can work together to refuse these infringements. It requires us to use the choices we have together to make an impact. Unfortunately most of us (almost none of us in tech at least) are in a union which will protect us if we strike but tech is not the only industry hurting. We need to start aligning.

@thesunisthesame@mastodon.social I don't have all of the answers. I only hope people start talking about what we can do and how we can support each other in our refusal. Right now many of us can't make that choice so none of this is voluntary under those conditions but we need to find ways to open those options.
