@AlexInBlue@lgbtqia.space I haven't been in the world of dance for 30 years, and was never really deeply in it, but it seems like you're partly describing an art culture that has become focused on one dimension or aspect of the art (i.e., speed) at the expense of many others. That can be nice for a particular artist or a particular movement or a specific application, but for a big chunk of the artistic world to do that will (I think) always limit what the art can do. It sounds frustrating and to some extent artificial, as you've described it.
