@zeenix@toot.cat @jzb@hachyderm.io Death sentence in what sense? Can a community project get "left behind"? Are people leaving the community once the contribution rules change not considered damage to FOSS? Is our goal here to have the ultimate software or the ultimate community?

@patrys@mastodon.online @jzb@hachyderm.io The big flaw in your argument is that you're assuming that the community will be richer with AI banned. The reason this discourse is negatively affecting community is mainly because of extreme stances against LLM usage IMO. People threatening your kids (see the original post of mine) isn't going to bring communities together or make them stronger.
