Brexit should have been a wakeup cakk, but instead we're sleepwalking towards fascism with Ursula's answer being age verification and a neoliberal Bluesky instance run by people with fascist leanings.

@FediThing@social.chinwag.org Also spare a thought for all those Germans for who believe the most viable alternative to their current government is voting for someone that every bugger knows is nigh on the nazi party. It's not like people are being fooled into thinking the AfD are not right-wing nut jobs. They view the incumbents as worse. That's not very reassuring either. It's not a Musk problem. It's not even a Siegmund problem (and no, I'm not defending either of them). It's a very bad social problem.

@FediThing@social.chinwag.org I didn't stop using Twitter, Twitter stopped me. They said Nazis are a protected group there, and I supposedly insulted them too much, deleting my account. That was even before Musk. Don't tell me Twitter was ok back then. It already was a den of Nazis.
