Hello #writingcommunity I'm new to Mastodon after having my X, Bluesky and Threads accounts suspended in one week for posts I made 6 months ago about my wild and seriously dangerous schizophrenic experiences. I mean, life happens and you naturally want to talk about it, no more I guess. So... Mastodon appears to be anti community with big accounts having almost no interactions to their posts. I'm guessing this is a terrible place to promote art.

@WizWritaObscura@mastodon.social I wouldn't say Mastodon is anti-community. It's anti-algorithim. So any interactions you do have are because people actually want to interact. In that way, Mastodon is closer to the offline world in that when apathy strikes, it results in less interaction.
